HCAD 310 · Human Resource Management in Healthcare   3 Credits

Study of the roles and responsibilities of human resources in healthcare administration. Students explore strategies for the effective use of human resources, including recruitment and selection, talent management, ethical use of employee resources, and workplace transformation.

HCAD 330 · Healthcare Information Systems   3 Credits

Application of information technology in healthcare administration. Students will explore the management and utilization of healthcare information systems, including electronic health records (EHR), health information exchanges (HIE), and the utilization of information technology for improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

HCAD 340 · Healthcare Operations   3 Credits

Study of healthcare policy development and economic principles influencing healthcare administration. Students analyze policy formulation, regulatory and financial frameworks, and economic factors affecting healthcare access, cost, and quality.
