Concentration in Addiction and Substance Use Disorders
The Addiction and Substance Use Disorders concentration equips students with the knowledge and skills from a Christian worldview perspective to support individuals struggling with addiction. This concentration provides a psychological and biblical framework for understanding substance abuse and recovery, which serves as a strong foundation for those considering work in the substance use and addictions field, as well as graduate studies in counseling, psychology, or social work. Graduates are prepared to serve in recovery programs, non-profit organizations, and Christian service organizations focused on addiction recovery and support.
