Adds and Drops
Students who drop all courses prior to the first 10th calendar day of the term are refunded 100 percent. Drop requests must be received by Noon PT on the 10th calendar day of the term. If the 10th calendar day falls on a weekend or holiday, the drop is processed on the next business day and is backdated to the 10th calendar day.
Students who wish to drop all their courses after Noon PT on the 10th day of the term must submit a General Petition by Noon PT on the 20th day and provide all supporting documentation by Noon PT on the 40th day. Such petitions will only be considered if there are extenuating circumstances. If financial aid has been disbursed before the drop, the aid will remain whole on the account. However, dropping all courses may still impact future financial aid.
Students may add an additional course to their schedule up to the 80th calendar day of the term. Courses added after the 10th calendar day of the term are considered late adds. Students may withdraw from a course added after the 10th calendar day only within the first 80 days of the term. All courses must be completed by the end of the term
